Onyx Storm - A 1-Page TTRPG Battle

Last night we held a midnight release party for Onyx Storm, Rebecca Yarros’s third novel in the Empyrean saga. There were themed drinks (Violent Violence was the most popular; I’ll post a recipe on Instagram over on @mossheartbooks), theories about Violet and company’s future, a REALLY hard trivia contest, and a 1-page TTRPG battle!

I built the small game without keeping balanced stats in mind, just as a way for the attendees to all have some fun choosing dragon colors, tails, and signets. It’s a simple roll high system with modifiers for a d20 roll.

The tail art is taken from the Empyrean fan wiki and is by PixelPinkGal. It’s formatted so you can print two at once on a sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper. Feel free to download, print, and share with the attribution of where it came from.
